Project: Real-time Wireless Microfluidic Microbial Fuel Cell Biosensor for Copper Ion Monitoring
- Analyzed operation principles and completed electrical characterization and metagenomic sequencing.
- Tested biosensor's measurement accuracy and response times for different Cu2+ concentrations.
- Developed and validated theoretical kinetic and mathematical models for copper ion measurement.
- Improved response time by 3.75x compared to previous studies.
- Verified real-time detection using river water instead of original cathode materials.
